Meet this month’s Client Spotlight recipient!


Every month here at Day1, we want to showcase our wonderful community and the efforts they have achieved! This month, we spotlight Amelia! Who flew down to Sydney to complete her first half marathon!


So, let’s have a chat!

What is your favourite type of session at Day1?

Personally, I love the Strong classes on a Monday and Wednesday. Love the format of the training blocks, as it allows you to work on certain lifts over time and see progression. It’s also a great complement for my running. 



What is your current goal / reason for training at Day 1?

From a physical perspective, the goal is to build strength and improve my overall fitness, but I also love working out for the mental health benefits. 


What do you enjoy most about Day1 Fitness?

The inclusive community vibe. There is no judgement and Day 1 caters to all fitness levels. It’s a very fun and supportive environment. 


Do you live by any fitness mantras or have any training beliefs you follow?

Just being consistent. The small 1% improvements over time make a lot of difference! 


You recently completed a half marathon. How did you find that challenge?

It was a great experience and challenge. I think the best part was proving to myself that I could be dedicated to a training plan.
